Hi! I’m a graduate student, studying Global Environmental Policy, who loves to cook & bake, especially for other people. My family is full of amazing cooks – Grandma makes amazing Syrian dishes & Maryland classics, Mom & my cousin Rachel went to culinary school (!!), and most of my aunts can seriously bake (and make other delicious foods)! Okay, the guys are pretty great too.
I’m fascinated by all things food & sustainability: organics, multiculture agriculture, composting, buying local, gardening, preserving, and even homebrewing (Stephen!).
I eat a mostly vegetarian diet, primarily for environmental reasons but also as an effort to be healthy & I’m pretty fond of animals too. A majority of the recipes on the blog are vegan. I do believe, in general, that eating minimal animal & animal byproducts is healthy for you, animals, & the planet
Thank you for visiting Pumpkin Honey! :)
Stephen is Kelley’s sous-chef. He is also a vegetarian.
Stephen wants to take this time to make a shout out to his parents, sister, and friends.
He can be found eating tofu pad thai & aloo matar.
His hobbies include guitar, home-brewing, reading, and bike riding. One day he will be a dog owner.

Can’t go wrong with a good Pad Thai Tofu. Congrats on your site, it’s great! Hope we can bounce ideas back and forth across the webs.
Hello Kelley & Stephen! I just wanted to drop a little comment to say that you have such a sweet site and the photo of the two of you is so cute!
